What we collect
PUZZORA collects minimal data to provide and improve the gaming experience:
- Nicknames & scores — when you submit a score to the leaderboard, we store the nickname you choose and your score. No account or login required.
- Session data — we use a random session ID (stored in your browser's sessionStorage) to count online players. This is not linked to your identity and is automatically deleted.
- Local storage — game progress, streaks, and high scores are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (page views, popular games, device types). Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using a browser plugin or your browser's cookie settings.
Advertising
We may display advertisements on the site. Advertisers book ad slots through our self-serve system. We do not share your personal data with advertisers. In the future, if we use Google AdSense, their cookie policy will apply.
Cookies
We use:
- Google Analytics cookies — for anonymous usage statistics
- localStorage — for game saves and preferences (not technically cookies)
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or cross-site profiling.
Third-party services
- Supabase — stores leaderboard scores and online player counts
- Netlify — hosts the website and serverless functions
- Stripe — processes advertising payments (only for advertisers)
- Google Analytics — anonymous site analytics
Children's privacy
PUZZORA does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All games can be played without providing any personal data.
Data retention
- Leaderboard scores are retained indefinitely (public nicknames only)
- Online session data is automatically deleted after 5 minutes of inactivity
- Visit statistics are aggregated and anonymized
Your rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's storage for puzzora.fun. If you want leaderboard entries removed, contact us.
